In 2011 Mr. Brotzge formed Impact Government Relations, Inc. with Clyde Caudill and Guthrie Zaring. Bob Rowland joined the firm as a partner in 2012. Impact Government Relations represents a number of clients including the Kentucky Association of Career Colleges & Schools, the American Coatings Association and the Kentucky Association of School Administrators.
Mr. Brotzge has over 35 years of experience in communications and government relations and has been a consultant since 1991. Prior to his work as a consultant he served as Manager of Government Affairs for Rohm and Haas Kentucky, Inc. and was Assistant Manager of Government Affairs at the Louisville Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout his career he has worked for a number of trade associations and Fortune 500 companies. These include Delta Airlines, Scott Paper, Gallatin Steel, the Kentucky Society of Architects, the American Coatings Association, the American Heart Association, the Kentucky Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the Kentucky Association of Career Colleges & Schools.
Mr. Brotzge is a Louisville native and received his BA and MBA from the University of Louisville. He is a founding member of the Louisville Forum and a 1995 graduate of Leadership Kentucky. He also served for many years on the MSD Appeals and Overseers Board.
Mr. Brotzge has been involved in a number of civic activities including the Metro United Way, Salvation Army, Americana Community Center and the Metro YMCA. He has also been active with Greater Louisville, Inc. and the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers.
